Auzzy rear

My brother has an 86 z28 and it had an Auzzy rear setup in it, he stripped the splines in the unit and axles, but the housing is still in great condition, how much is it worth being an Auzzy rear? or is it even worth trying to sell? i have all the internals with it, its all apart cause when he took it to a shop we got the rear and all parts back, right now the camaro has a new camaro rear not the auzzy setup, its disc not drum, it was a great rear, thanks for info.

Its a 9-bolt rear end, they aren't as rare as most people think they are but parts for them are more expensive. Only a few people would actually buy them to replace their stock 10-bolt. I got a deal on one for 100$. If you are going to sell it, sell it as is, no need to repair in then sell it.

Thanks for the reply, i didnt really look at the car much cause he always took it to a shop, i do mustangs so some GM stuff i am not to sure of lol, doeant mean i dont like em, i love all American Muscle, i respect all cars actually as long as they are decent, it has stripped axle splines and possibly the posi unit, it was sorta put back together just to keep it all together sitting in my garage to save room, it was all apart but needed room, so if you know of anyone who wants to buy it tell them best offer takes it, i am in Philadelphia PA. Thanks
