Automatic Flex Plates????

HEy guys...
So lets say we are putting down 375 - 400 RWHP and lots of Torque through the rear enad and Tranny ... Now what are some good names of Flex plates to handle the extra stree or are ya all just using OEM units???

Thanks

It's more a matter of rpm, IMHO. Unless you are turning high rpm, I wouldn't bother changing it if it looks good on inspection or if you need to replace a stock external balance unit with neutral balance or something like that.

FWIW, my factory (LS1) flex-plate broke!! And my car is stock (power-wise). I've seen / heard of others breaking as well. The stocker is a P.O.S. IMO . I just went to a tranny shop and they ordered one from their supplier (I couldn't tell you what make it was? ) but it was VISIBLY stronger / better "engineered" than the factory, albeit, a little heavier as well, but I'd rather it hold together than break in 2 places .
