auto trans problem

auto trans problem
under full throttle in 1st gear, when the car goes to shift into second it just gets stuck in redline untill i lightly let of the gas and then it shifts. If im full throttle in second it shifts fine into 3rd and then fine into 3-4. its just 1st-2nd at full throttle. any ideas?
