Auto tranny pan aftermarket q.
Alright, looking through jegs, all they have listed is an aftermarket deeper tranny pan made out of aluminum and finned for 700R4's. Is it the same exact thing as a 4L60E? Will the 700R4 pan bolt right up to our A-4's?? I cant seem to find that info anywhere!
Jegs makes a nice aluminum one for like 65 bucks, 2 quart bigger and finned for the 700, but nothing for mine! All the other ones are over a hundred bucks!
Thanks
Cody

The pan for the 700r4 will bolt right up...Just be careful with the deeper pans as sometimes the deep pan becomes a low point under there and can get gacked pretty good...I found a deeper factory pan with a drain plug that I think came on trucks...It holds 1 quart more and uses a deeper factory filter...not an extension...My trans guy found the pan and filter and we tried it out...So far so good...

700 pan will bolt right up. This is the pan I have, holds 3 qts extra over stock.

well, with a high stall and daily driven, I figured any way to get that bizzich cooled down would help. I already have the spohn torque arm made for long tube headers, so that catches a lot of hell. I think that would hang down further than the tranny pan, not sure though.
