Auburn posi's

Anyone have some knowledge on whether or not the Auburn pro series posi is a decent unit? It's what I wound up going with because of a special offer and the fact that the stock one was making some strange noises. Do you think it will hold up for a while even if I add a 100shot of juice to what I already have? (370 RWHP).

not a bad unit that holds ok the problem is that once they go bad they are not rebuil;dable. auburn does a buy back and sells you a new one for i think $150 or $250. give them a call

I thought the pro series was the ordinary auburn cone with an extended warranty but maybe not. What byrons1502 is referring to is the D-REX program. If you want to learn more about it see this:

The standard Auburn is the original factory posi unit (clutch-cone design) that comes in the GM 10 bolt rear-ends. The Auburn Pro Series is a "slight" performance upgrade for the 10 bolts and has the free rebuild from Auburn. The standard unit does not have the free rebuild from Auburn.
