Auborn Gears?

What do you think about Auborn Gears. I found and entire diff for $250 its the hole 3 series carrier. Right now I have 2.73 but Im geting 3.73s. I was just wanting some opinions on this rear diffs.

250 for a stock auburn posi is a bad price. You can find them cheaper, or buy a zexel-torsen for about 300 which is way better than an auburn will ever be. You don't need a 3 series carrier for 3.73 gears in all cases. They make gears that fit 2 series in 3.73 ratio.

If the carrier is already a 3 series you do not have to switch anything. It is either a 2, or 3, series. You cannot change that. You can change what gears go on what carrier though. Some companies make 3.73 (normally 3 series) that fit 2 series gears. However, a 3 series gear (that is made for a 3 series carrier) can fit a 2 series carrier with a spacer.

Just buy whatever gear you want, that is made for your carrier.

If the carrier you are buying is a 3 series, you need a 3 series gear.

There's some, just click details to find the carrier series. 3.08 and down is 2, 3.23 and up is 3.
