ASR Delete/ 12b Q's...

I'm debating deleting my traction control. I use it and I kind of like having it.. But in theory, once your tires have broken loose, ... they're broken loose.. On whatever slippery surface. But I'm looking to clean up the engine bay.. I'm 60/40 on keeping it.

As far as the 12b... Strange says in the Speed inc add, you have to send in your axles and backing plates for the brakes.

1998+ owners will need to send in your brake backing plates/caliper mounts a week before the rear will be built so they can be built into the rear or you can purchase them outright to avoid any downtime with the car. Cars with traction control will need to send in both axles.
I suppose I can just buy the backing plates.. Another reason to delete the ASR, avoid sending in the axles..

as far as i'm concerned, i've never heard of anyone sending in their brakes, or axles.
