Anyone with Trans temp gauge

I posted a thread about the autometer electric temp guage and the problem with haveing to get a different adapter and sender. Was wondering if its the same with the tranny temp guage or does the sender and adapter that comes with the guage fit.

Actually it is NOT an LS1 specific question.
The answer is that the guage will come with several different adapters and you can decide which way you want to go.
Personally, I like drilling and tapping a cast pan so you can just screw the sensor in. It can be done with a stamped pan using the adapters supplied with the guage.

I didn't move it, but whoever did was 100% correct. "LS1/LSx.... ENGINE Tech" is for questions about.....(surprise) ENGINES. This question is not about an ENGINE, so it doesn't belong there. Hopefully this will clarify your misunderstanding about the purpose of the various forums. Might want to take the time to read the brief descriptions under the link to each forum.

If you want to argue about or clarify things like this, PLEASE follow board guidelines and do it in a PM with the Moderator, not by complaining in the thread.
