Anyone ever rebuilt a DS center bearing?

One of our V6 Fbods has developed a pretty bad driveshaft vibration. I checked it out and it looks like the center support bearing for the 2 piece driveshaft is coming apart. Has anyone ever rebuilt one, or does anyone know how difficult it is to do so? Any additional parts needed beyond the bearing itself?
I know a lot of guys on here swap V8 1 piece units in but I don't see the safety cross brace on this car that my Z28 has. I'd hate to put a one piece in here and have it fail without the support to catch it. I guess the 2 piece cars don't have the brace because the center support acts as the safety loop?

Any advice or previous experience would be appreciated!
