i had just bought my 98 ss camaro and i have a t56 trans question. maybe its because i an a new owner and havent got used to every thing yet but my question is when ever i put it in R and i let the cluck out the stick starts to shake and it will pop out or R it dose this 1/20 times but after the first few times i recognise when its going to do it and i hold it down. my other questin is, i was driving about 25-30 mph and i shifted in to 3 from 2 and when i let go of the shifter the shifter sprung back into N so are these a commen thing w/ t56 that i just need to get use to or is it my driviing. sorry for the long post thanks

 

maybe the guideplate is out of alignement or your not putting it in gear all the way?
