Another tranny cooler question

Hey, i did alot of searching and could not find the answer to my specicfic question. I want to run b&m 24000 gvw cooler, but i live in MN where the temps reach -40 during the winter and i unfortunatly drive it in the winter
Would it still be ok to run this cooler, also if you place it in front of the radiator doesn't that steal air used to cool the engine? Is there any other place to mount it, and if not would the engine have a chance of overheating?
Thanks

There is no reason it wouldn't work in the winter. You need to realize, some giant rigs have huge tranny coolers as well (trucks, RV's) and they run just fine in the winter.

I live in Fargo, ND. It's just as cold, if not colder here. I know plenty of people with 24000 gvwr or higher tranny coolers.
