Annoying!!!

After doing my rear swap (12 bolt) I have had a really loud rattle. Today I decided to investigate it and think I found the problem. There is a lot of play in the control arm bolts. As u can see form the pictures the bolt is tight in the rear but very loose in the control arm. Its like this on both sides. I’m broke right now so new ones isn’t an option. What else can I do to fix the problem???

Re: Annoying!!!

Looks like the bolts are worn down in the middle due to the extra play of the control arms. I would think that the only fix would be to replace them. They cant be too expensive.

Either that or "Ace is the Place"

Honestly, look in the classifieds and see if someone is parting out a f-body and see if you can pick up a pair from them. Either that or find out what size they are and hit up the hardware store. If you end up going the hardware store route, make sure the bolts are grade 8, dont use no sissy bolts or youll be back in the same boat in no time at all. Good luck with it man!

well the bolts are tight in the rear. Where it goes through the control arm is very loose. a bigger bolt will not fit through the rear.
