Aluminum Flywheel...balancing...weights

If a aluminum flywheel is to be purchased (fidanza) how do I go about balancing this thing? is it necessary? it comes with weights, my machine shop says they don't do balancing...I just need it balanced the same as the factory one? thanks for the help

You should be able to buy it balanced the same as a stocker. A purist would say it should still be checked. In eother case, that will be of use only if you have a stock rotating assembly.

I have a stock rotating assembly and the fidanza flywheel says it has to be "counter balanced" like our stock flywheel. I just need to know what is needed to match this aluminum one to my stocker.

seems that the "weights included" for balance means it is already installed.

Now on my new clutch with the mark on it that is supposed to line up or get very close to the X on the stock flywheel, do I line the cluch up to the weight on the aluminum Fidanza flywheel? thanks guys

well I will just match the bolt pattern up and put some weight on it. I can't find anyone to counterbalance...match these flywheels

well I installed the flywheel with the supplied weight in the same spot as the weight on the stock flywheel and put the pressure plates mark in the same spot it would have fallen on the stock flywheel. The motor has a vibration, it is small but there....out it comes again...
