Advice Needed!

Recently inslalled a b&m shift kit, now i have a grinding noise in the rear end. could it be an inner axle bearing? Haven't checked the outer ones yet. If it is an inner bearing, is it something easy that I can replace myself or is it very technical? any input would be appreciated:

You need to describe the grinding a bit more/ Is it all the time, around turns, during hard driving? What years your car? If 98 or newer Zexel Torsen carrier 97 or older Auburn carrier? By inner Axle bearing you must mean carrier bearing. Does the car shift O.K? Give some more info
