Exclamation accidental reverse

i have a 95 Z28...well the story goes i was crusin the usual loop and when i went to turn into the parkin lot, i accidentally put it into reverse at about 5 mph...the tires barked and then it died, so i put it in neutral and started it and it drove and shifted fine the rest of the night...as the days went on the tranny started to take awhile to go into gear, but reverse worked fine...im still driving it, but you cant give it more then 1/4 throttle or it will seem to slip out of gear, everything seems to be goin normal till it has to shift!

any suggestions?

and will a 97 4l60e from a trans am, bolt up and work fine on my 95 camaro?

please reply

don't know about the stick problems. Old age maybe?

The auto swap will work but you'll have to have an auto program flashed into your PCM (I think)

when mine did that, I broke a tranny mount. yes that should bolt directly up with your car with no problems. It doesnt sound good. Take it to a tranny shop and have them check it out or the dealer.

If you're looking to put an A4 in your car, I'm looking to put an M6 in mine. Maybe we can work out a swap arrangement. My A4 works, btw.

my car is an a4...its in the process of being rebuilt right now, should be done by friday!

getting a vette servo, and trans-go shift kit, with borg warner clutches.

the guy shot me a price $800-$1000 everything done, including pulling from the car, and pressure washing the whole underneath.

thanks for your input,
steve
