Angry A4 problems

I was just driving around in my 94 Z the other day when I came to a stop sign. Everything seemed fine until I pulled off. There was a dragging sound coming from under my car, I thought maybe my exhaust had come loose or something. When I looked under the car there wasn't anything there. So, I drove it the rest of the way home. The sound is only in first and fourth gear and the trans seems to shift just fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Does it make any noises in neutral or reverse?
Kinda hard to diagnose sounds thru the board.

I had to take the car for a test drive to make sure I knew exactly what the sound was doing. The noise sounds alot like something scrubbing up against the torque conv, but if that was the case you could hear it in all gears.

You can hear it loudest in first, and a little in fourth . Reverse seems to make a little noise. None in neutral, second and third . I probably could tell more about it if it wasn't for that piece of crap flow master!

I know what you mean wrencher, I hate it when someone wants me to tell them whats wrong with their car by a sound that I haven't heard personally. All the same, What the h*ll is wrong with my car!
