A4 mis-shift?

A4 mis-shift?
I went half throttle from a stoplight and the car shifted 1-2 just fine but did not shift up into 3rd... stayed in second and revved up to 6k before i let off and it went back into gear. Is my tranny starting to go? rebuild? The car has only 18k on it, its the first time I've had any tranny problems.

MY 02 Z DID THE SAME THING AT WOT. BEATS THE HELL OUT OF ME. BE SURE WHEN KICK IT DOWN THAT ITS OUT OF OVER DRIVE AND IN DRIVE. THIS CAN KEEP YOUR OVERDRIVE GEAR FROM GOING OUT AND IT S EASIER ON THE TRANNY
