A4-M6 swap...new torque arm needed?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can reuse my driveshaft but I need to get a new torque arm for the T56.

If I am correct above, then what would you guys recommend as I am building this car piece by piece? The stock 10-bolt is in there now but will probably be taken out in another year or so for a 9-inch or 12-bolt (not sure which yet).

The car won't see much driving time over the next year but it still needs to be drivable and I'd like to plan ahead and get something that will work well down the road for and all-around car (street/strip/autox).

Help!!

The auto torque arm will work with the T-56.

Does anyone have a pic of how the torque arm mounts in the T56 setup?

You will need a new torque arm bracket, but your stock torque arm will work fine.

But...........be aware that the auto torque arm is much weaker because it's missing an added structural support in the middle. You can drive it that way but if you launch hard with traction then you could easily bend it.

Be aware that a M6 torque arm is the same as a V-6 torque arm the support is the mount for the carrier bearing on the V-6 2 piece driveshaft. A junkyard V-6 piece will get it done for you. Must be from a 4th gen.
