A4 to M6 Swap & Car Won't Start
A4 to M6 Swap & Car Won't Start
The starter won't even turn over, so I think it has to do one of the wires I unplugged from the stock shifter (Only starts in P or N). I'm going to go dig a little bit and see if I can't figure it out. I appreciate any help.

There are six wires on the connector to the switch on the auto shifter. The two thickest ones (should be the top two) are for the neutral safety switch. Connect them together and the starter should work. If you plan to use the neutral safety switch on the clutch pedal just extend those two wires to the switch. I would recommend using the switch. It can save you embarasment
if you forget to press the clutch before starting.

Thank you. I knew that I needed to connect two of the wires, but I didn't know which ones. I just plugged that plug back into my stock shifter so I could start it. I appreciate it.
