A4 to M6 advice

i am looking for a New Englander that has done an automatic to manual swap on a 1993-1996 Z-28/firebird. i have a 1994 Z-28 that i want to put a 6-speed in and i would like to talk to someone that has done the swap so i can get some advice and see how tough it is/was.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

john

Thanks! i am going to look for the parts this winter/spring. other than the obvious stuff, is there any special parts that i would need that are not thought of until part way through the swap.

i am using this site that i found as the basis for the swap (information wise). it has been mentioned here on this site before. he goes through a step by step process for the swap.

i will get in touch with you when i get closer to the date.

any advise for me?

john

I wouldn't think there would be much difference if any, but what about on a LS1? I looked everywhere for a 02' 6 speed z28. couldn't find one anywhere. So i'll just make one. I was thinking about purcahsing the t56 from d&d performance. Have you guys heard anything about them?
