i have a vig 3200, with 3.73 gears, i run through the stock cooler then into a b&m cooler, the big one. on a hot humid day running in the city i haven't gone over 195F. the temp sensor is in the test port on the tranny.

today on the highway it never went over 150, and just over at the track

i know that the only easy place to put the sensor(on the drivers side upper tranny port) but i feel like the tranny will heatsoak and give u false (hotter) readings...maybe im wrong but doesnt that sound right?

I put my trans temp sender in the side of the pan.. probably get better readings from there. Plus it doubles as a drain plug.
