i recently had my car tuned up and now its not downshifting from 2nd to 1st a wot.

 

When you come to a stop (like at a traffic light or to turn) does the transmission downshift? Are you going into 4th gear? My transmission didn't want to downshift when there was a VSS fault. Not sure if that's what your issue is exactly, though.

 

Yeah it downshifts normally.When im at about 20-25 mph and do a wot it will not shift down.

 

Sounds like a problem with the program /tune. Did you do it yourself? I think there are tables that control this.

I also assume you meant reprogram when you said " tune". If not I apologize.

 

I also have the same issue on a 94 Z28. The trans will not downshift from 2nd to 1st, and my car is stock except for CAI & exhaust.

 

In both cases I would say its a tuning issue ,
