95Z28 M6.....Bad clutch?
All of a sudden today my clutch/trans started acting up. I don't know a whole lot about a trans or clutch so this may even be a simple fix to somebody more competent.
When I press in the clutch, it doesn't feel so smooth. No grinding or anything, just feels a little notchy, like it aged 10 years overnight and when going down the road in anything under 6th gear the clutch pedal has a little vibration to it. Also, its very hard to get into any gear, standing or moving *unless* the clutch is to the floor. Also when I take off in 1st, it feels like it wants to stall out as soon as I start to let the clutch out. On a back road home I went WOT and it did NOT slip at all.
Bad clutch or something else?
Note - Its only difficult to get into gear, no problem pulling them out, and when i release the clutch after shifting its a nice and smooth ride; no bucking or weird rev increases/decreases. Also, in the clutch master cyl. reservoir, how much fluid should be present?
EDIT - Car has 191k miles, original trans, clutch has around 100k miles on it as far as I know. . . . .
