700r4 shift kit Q (cable going to TB)

if i install a full manuwal shift kit into my 700 r4 witch im rebuilding now do i still need to run that cable (i forget its name) to the TB?

It depends on the manual valve body manufactuerer. Some still use the cable, as where others don't. Your instructions should tell you rather you need it or not.

im going to use the stock valve body and use one of the top of the line transgo shift kits, ill have to do some reading and find out if i need it or not

Some kits can still be used as auto shifting if left in drive, so the cable will be needed. Or some will make them all the time full manual. Just do you homework and make sure you get what you want.

Use the TV cable when using the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, and set it to the maximum TV pressure at WOT. If you have any questions on this, call me at 909 7951876 after 10am PST.
