Re: 700r4 conversion question

You'll need a '93 throttle body. Your '94 style doesn't have a place to attatch the TV cable. You'll want to buy a new TV cable for a 1993 LT1 camaro. I'd also suggest buying a governor for your 700 that is for a 1993 Camaro

The computer will not control anything in the 700, if the TCC is wired correctly, internally. You can splice into your current TCC wires that ran to the 4L60E (Hot and ground). If you wire it correctly, you won't need an external lock up switch. You can make lock-up come in after 4th gear, by wiring the transmission correctly.

The TV cable bolts to the passenger side of the transmission, just behind the servo cover.

Driveshaft and torque arms will fit as long as it's a 2WD 700R4. You can use the 4L60E tailhousing on the 700.

it should plug into the speed sensor on the drivers side of the tail shaft

thats not the VSS plug

the plug for the VSS is a two pin that connects to the sensor in the tailshaft(near the driveshaft/trans mount)

and that trans is not fron a 93 camaro, its earlier(93 used the 5 pin connector, earlier ones used the 4 pin)

the 4/5 pin connector is for gear info(3rd gear, 4th gear) and TCC
