if you are running that quick you really should upgrade to a larger rear end

OMG get a 9" and be done with it.
No 10 bolt gears will hold up to 10 second passes. Throwing good money on bad money IMHO.

Respectfully, you have a nice fast ride and 10's are for most of us to envy, but if you are on a mission to prove the f-body community wrong by successfully using the 10 bolt while running 10's then you efforts and dedication IMHO are misguided. At best you may get lucky a couple times but its like a 800 pound monkey on your back, you will eventually get squashed and have to figure out how to get home. Plus there is a chance the rear grenades and you miss a shift, bye bye 10 second motor.

Obviously piece of mind of knowing you wont blow your rear out on the street or at the strip are worth a certain dollar amount. I personally don't understand why you would spend the money to go tens and not spend the money to properly get the power to th ground.

Us guys only running 12's are the one that have a slim chance of proving the nay sayers wrong, but I personally would limit my efforts from what the members here have posted in the past.

I will now get off my soap box.

yeah i know what you mean and im going to try a few upgrades to the rearend and if it goes out oh well. then i look at a 12bolt but i want to give the 7.5 a fighting chance and see what i can get out of it. with a little luck im going to try and put it into the high 9s with more spary yet this year.

check out the bulletproofing your 10bolt thread. i'd like to see how your 10 bolt holds up after doing the tube brace mod.
