The 7.5" "mini spool"

Has anyone used one? I am looking into it for a autocross/street setup. Are the worth the money and can they hold a fair amount of power without tearing to pieces. so far I got strange gears, moser axles, I just need the big piece that makes it all go together and cant deicide.

Some people use them, but I think a spool on the street absolutely sucks. Maybe you should drive a car with one before you do this? Especially in the rain, a locked rear is quite "interesting". If you didn't know what power oversteer was, you will quickly find out.

I have driven with one before, I actual prefer the spool cause it tends to fit my driving style better. this car is going to be a dominately track and maybe see the road twice a year. Do you know of a good brand? I have seen a few advertise the mini spool but which one is better. I would prefer a a plain jane spool but they dont seem to make them for the 7.5" ten bolts.

Mark Williams or Moser.

A spool for autocross? That's a bad idea. Your car will push coming into turns. The best diff for autrocross is the Torsen T2R-they sell for $500-525.
