6 speed swap

Would it be worth it to swap the harnesses as well or would it be easier to just order the certain wires i need to convert and just splice and soder. I only ask because i'm half way through taking off my auto harness but haven't gotten under the dash yet to start having real fun? Should i keep digging and put the manual harness in or just stop where i'm at

Re: 6 speed swap

I used a manual transmission harness. You have to use the same year harness or else it gets complicated. This will make things easier, but you will still need to wire the reverse lockout solenoid separately.
Also, I only used the engine harness. It won't be worth the time and effort to swap out interior harnesses as well.

If you're good with wiring, it won't make that much of a difference though. I had to change harnesses either way due to other reasons.

Well, found out his year was a 95 so looks like i'll be putting the whole harness back in . What all do i exactly need now to set upmy harness to the new t56. I know you said i had to wire up the reverse lockout solenoid. Do I have to special order anything from a dealership/summit or could i get the stuff at any local auto parts store?
