4L60E shift kit / upgrades

i am about to install my shift kit (trans go), converter (torco), and tranny cooler. i was wondering since i have the trans out are there other simple parts i should upgrade?? i am not looking to do a rebuild but thought i should check and see if there is anything else i should do. any past gotcha's i should look out for?? the fluid i was putting back in is the valvoline regular / synthetic blend. thanks in advance.

torco converters

How many miles are on your car? Our trannies are known for crapping out at around 100k so I'd consider that while you have the tranny out. FYI the tranny cooler should help lengthen the life. That 100k mark doesn't apply to all our cars, it just seems to be the norm.
