4L60E removal questions

tomorrow morning I'm removing a 700r4 (old version of 4L60E)
what size are the bolts that mount the trans to the motor?
I can't find my SAE sockets
are they metric?

Re: 4L60E removal questions

They are 9/16 head bolts. Pretty much any bolt that threads into the block is SAE standard.

Re: 4L60E removal questions

Agree with the post above, they are 9/16th, and I went out and bought a 9/16th dedicated swivel socket beacuse that top one can sometimes be a problem...
