4L60E problem

I lost the little bar that goes from the valve in the valve body to the bracket for the detent cable when I had my tranny apart. Where can I get one of these, is there a GM part number? I would try to make one, but I don't know exactly what size it needs to be since I don't have one to measure. Thanks.

i wouldn't try to make one. The length is critical. Try "Whatever It Takes" transmission parts. Ask for Josh Sommerman. Tell him what you're looking for. WIT's number is 800-940-0197

Re: 4L60E problem

Frank, thanks for the reply, I tried to call last night but didn't get anyone, I'll try back again tomarrow during the day.

Steven, it's the bar that connects the valve body to the detent cable. Its an 1/8 diameter steel rod that's about 2 inches long with a couple of bends on it. How much would you sell it for? Also I'm in New Jersey, so we'd have to work out a payment method and shipping method.
