What happened was I was driving I-95 home and car worked fine. At the stop lights just before completelly stopping it sounded like something hit the bottom of the car. Took off from the lights and it felt like the tranny was on second or third. Also when I lifted the throttle it felt like it was still on low gear, engine braking. After maybe 1/8th mile it just lost all gears. When I tried to push it it was impossible. It needed a truck to pull to get it moving. So no forward, no reverse and car not moving by pushing either, even with neutral. The fluid is clear and red, no burnt smell and the only symptoms before were when kick down shifted from 4th to 2nd it felt like it had a second of reving with no gear and then took off normally. Car is 95 Z28 convertible with 103K. Fluids been changed frequently. Anyone any ideas?
