3rd gen posi

does anyone know what size of posi I need in my 1986 Iroc z

Im lookin to put a 3.73 in it and posi but I really dont know what I need

can someone send me some links were I can find this stuff

It all depends on what you have now. All rear end parts are not interchangeable.

No such ratio as 2:92 in 3rd Gen. But its looks like you have 2-series 10-bolt which is tough to work with. The most cost effective would to find a rear axle with a 3-series ratio and a limited slip then think about your 3:73.

S-10's are a good canidate and they ususlly come with 3.73's but auburn's are hard to find...
