3rd to 4th grinding

I just got done rebuilding my syncros and putting in a 3-4 steel shift fork and my problem is still not fixed...maybe even worse. When I shift from 3rd to 4th under 3k rpm everything is fine. When I shift over 3k rpm into 4th the trans grinds. This only happens from 3rd to 4th, not any other shifts. I thought for sure that it would be the syncro. Any other ideas. This is a 93 T56 with about 114K miles. I really need some help.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: 3rd to 4th grinding

Wow... that is my exact problem. Only mine is from 1 - 2 and even if it's at 1,500 RPMs it will still grind if I don't shift very, very slow and carefully.

I was expecting this to be a syncro problem... maybe that's not the case. I hope someone has some more info on this. I was planning on trying to fix it myself.. but if I couldn't.. at least the tranny would be out of the car already and that would save me a few hours a labour costs.

I'm having the same issue with the 1-2 shift. It does not grind all the time. Seems to be an intermittant thing with my tranny. Any info would be helpful.
