3.42 to 3.73
I'm not sure what ratio you have. I do know that you can spot the cars with the less than stellar gears by the lack of a low gear position on the gear select indicator. I'm thinking it was the 93's that had a 3.23 ratio. But that may have been specific to the 6 speed cars since they had a deeper set of gears for 1st-3rd. Don't know for sure.
If you're thinking it doesn't seem like enough of a jump to go from 3.42 to 3.73, it'll be a serious kick in the pants! With an A4, that would be as high as I would go. From my personal experience, 4.10's are too deep for an auto trany if it's a daily driver.

some tuning places will reflash your pcm if it's within a certain window of you getting your car tuned.
ask the person who tuned your car if they would just change the ratio real quick... it takes a whole 3 seconds and even a novice can do it.

guy also said i should get some axle bearings since i have 100,000 on my car.
I guess my speedo will be really screwed up untill I get it done but thats all right?
