3.23 to 3.73 what do i need?

3.23 to 3.73 what do i need?

i need to know what parts i need for this, no tools because i dont wanna even mess around with the gears. i will be taking it to the dealership. so far i know i need the gearset along with a installation kit, is there anything else i need? and our rear end is the 7.5" 10 bolt right?

That should be all. The dealership should supply the fluid and posi additive. A few helpful things include making sure you get a kit that has axle bearings (might as well replace them). Also, welding the axle tubes isn't a bad idea and getting a rear girldle will also help. Good luck.

you are going to need someway to correct your speedometer slp sells what they call a black box or a custom burnt chip from ed wright or superchips

Unfortunately custom chips don't correct the speedo in 93 z28s. Also, I'm pretty sure SLP does not sell the conversion boxes anymore. Your best bet is to find one used or learn to live with an incorrect speedo which will also rack up the miles.

i was just looking for some gears, and i need to know wheather i need the ones for a 3.08 and lower carrier, or the 3.23 and higher carrier.
