2nd to 3rd Gear Not Shifting At WOT?

I recently had my 4L60E transmission rebuilt about 6 months ago and lately I've noticed that the car will not shift into 3rd at WOT..... It will shift from 1st to 2nd wide open no problem but after that it just pegs the rev limiter until I lift off the throttle and then it shifts..... Any thoughts?

The 3-4 clutches aren't coming on fast enough. We've done a huge amount of work in this particular area of the 4L60E to prevent this from happening. You're battling with apply pressure, as well as holding power.

Thanks for the quick reply..... Anything I can do to fix the problem or will it need another rebuild?

Well there area few things you can do that might help but if it didn't start out that way at best you would be band aid it, Sounds like the 3-4 clutch has to much clearance now for whatever reason and as said its going. As stated above you do have to walk a tight line on the 3-4 clutch to get performance and durability and you wont get that with a stock rebuild or a stock build with a shift kit.
