2400 stall problem

2400 stall problem
installed a 2400 stall today and went great up till i went to drive it home
drove it at work for awhile and everythign was cool, tested the flash and the tires break at 2200 actually
but heres the problem, if i cruise too long at any one speed say 40-45 the SES light comes on, when i stop it goes off.
whats up with that, i have a 97 ss that was obd 2 but now has the obd 1 conversion.
i cant scan it till tomorrow but has anybody else had this problem.
