Ive got a 4l60e with a recent TCI rebuild... I just took it out for the spring and it drove fine, but all of a sudden if i step on it, it will slip and the rpms will shoot up then when i let off it will go into 2nd, same thing with second to third... is it my band? BTW it goes into reverse fine

You could possibly have a bad PRESURE CONTROL SOLENOID or sticky regulator valve. I would tend to lean towards the PCS and make sure the trans is full theres no such thing as a little low in a 4L60E
