Rolls back how much? All autos have a little slack when you put it in park.

All autos do it less than 6" or so.

Check the linkage (on the tranny and in the center console). Then if that doesn't work fix the broken tranny.

Try to disconnect your linkage, at the transmission. Move the transmission lever to the park position. See if the car tries to roll then. If your linkage doesn't line up with your cable, you may have a cable/shifter issue. Has the transmission ever been built? The bolts that retain the park linkage, in the transmission, could have backed out.

I had the same problem. Then my shifter stopped putting the car in drive correctly. Then I realized my shifter wasn't truly putting my car in park and that my linkage on the tranny somehow got loose. REAL loose.
