12 bolt owners inside

On the Moser, and I assume all other 12 bolts, there are 4 shorter bolts that connect the torque arm instead of the two long ones on the stock 10. How do you guys get the top two bolts tight!? Even at full suspension droop there is very little room up there.

Major Pain in the Butt!!

That's how. Use a small screwdriver get it lined up as good as you can (do the top first) and get one bolt started. The second should be much easier after the first one is in a half dozen threads or so.

Make SURE you Red Lock-Tite the bolts or you'll be buying a new Bracket like I had to do. (Search the Suspension section for my Broken Sphoon TA post).

if you have an adjustabel TQ arm crank the pinion angle all the way down i give you much more room.

Yeah, a couple of people have informed me now. Oh well, at least I know about my own rear end, even if I don't know about others. I have actually figured out a pretty good way to get some good torque on the top bolts. Use a short socket, a swivel, and what my friends and I call a cheater pipe. A cheater pipe is basically a 12-20 inch piece of one inch diameter pipe that you put the handle of the ratchet in to get MAJOR leverage. Also great for breaking loose stubborn bolts. I know for sure I got one of the top bolts really tight with it, and I think I got the other one too.

the top handle of a floor jack works nice also and some have hand grips on them.

mine was easy to get at. they recomend longer bolts if needed with an aftermarket TQ arm. use loc tite like said. it;s not hard to get at them, I used a ratcheting wrench and my arms.
