12 bolt ??

12 bolt ??

going into a 95 camaro what do i need i want to go with a moroso 12 bolt will this rearend except my stock rear disc breaks like the caliper backing plates and stock rotors and stock pads

will i need to run new brake lines and such.


show me some install info and anything else i need to know before i go and buy this rearend

Could you possibly mean the MOSER 12-bolt?

It's a direct plug-and-play.... it matches all the factory mounting points, springs, shocks and accepts the rear wheel calipers, emergency brake, etc.

No. You shouldn't even have to do anything other than loosen the brake lines from the old rear, and leave them hanging and drop the new rear under them.

The Moser comes in pieces. You have to take your old brake backing plates off the old axle and swap them to the Moser, then have the bearings pressed on. There are shims that may be required, but Moser doesn't mention them and sometimes doesn't ship them. You may need a shorter driveshaft, about 1/2 of the people have done this.

You might want to consider the Strange 12-bolt.... fully assembled, none of the above "issues".
