10 bolt To 12 bolt question
Im pretty sure i have tweaked my driveshaft because it vibrates like crazy ever since I put on Drag Radials and went the strip. Im lookin to upgrade to a 1LE or a Dennys nitrous ready one. My question is, is the length of the DS going to be the same for a Moser 12 bolt as it is with the stock 10 bolt? I know the rearend is going to be next but i just want to fix the Ds for now and dont want to have to shorten it later. Also, will a 1LE be strong enough for my setup or should i go beefier? Thanks in advance.

Re: 10 bolt To 12 bolt question
When you go with a denny's ds, you have to measure with the rear end and transmission your going to use, i.e. have the moser allready mocked up. My Denny's n20 ready ds was shorter than stock due to the fact you also need roughly 1/2" inch of slip travel, so it wont bind. If you measure based on a stock 10 bolt, your going to have to send to back for a different u joint for a 1350 series yoke and have it shortened.
I would just wait when you do the rear, do the job once.
