'02 SS A4 having issues

He was a pretty nice guy, so I'm not sure he was jerking me around or not.

Does anyone know what RPMs at what speed I should have both in 3rd and 4th gears? Is there a chart or something? Maybe just the fact that I haven't been over 50-60 mph in a couple months is throwing me off.

Wouldn't an A4 SS have 3.23's

No. If it doesn't have the performance gear option it will have 2.73. Just because it's an SS doesn't mean it comes with 3.23. Most do have them....but not all.
