Who has the fastest LTx f-body??
Who has the fastest LTx f-body??
Who has the fastests LTx powered F-body??
i think it would be killer to try and build a badass high compression 396 that could handle a **** ton of spray.
Who out there has the fastest LTx powered F-body?? and more importantly, what do they run???

Re: Who has the fastest LTx f-body??
Rick Intrau at HPE ran a 8.0 @ like 176 mph. Big cube turbo car. He has the world record. Their is a few of us like myself that have a 396+ cubes with a lot of spray. I should be in the high 8's and I know of a few more already there.

From what i've gathered, when Rick went 8.08 he still wasn't on "high boost". The car dyno'd very close to 1240rwhp at just 23psi, and i thought i read over on ls1tech that he was only running about 18psi for the 8.08 run. I was stunned when they sold that engine without running it full blast... he had 7.80s in the bag, IMO.
1240rwhp and the LT1 was still going. I wonder where the breaking point is

for a properly built motor..........the limit is much higher than that
Re: Who has the fastest LTx f-body??
I haven't seen any LT1 blocks break from shear power so far. Injuneer knows a lot about george baxter's car, and i think they said there was some evidence of the caps walking at the 1125 hp level... but he also had a huge blower tugging on the front of the crankshaft.
LT1 blocks seem to be stronger than most give them credit for. I might build a high-boost turbo'd dyno queen one day just to see where it blows up at

he went his 8.08 with the same 16 lbs I think. Its a bad *** car no doubt.
