What's you plans for next year??
Since the Thunder Shootout I've pretty much completed my mods for next year..
1) Installed a set of Adjustable KYB Shocks on the frontend..
2) Installed a Autometer Playback tach..
3) Rebuilt the 10 bolt..New Moser Axles , Auburn Pro Series diff. , Moser 4.10 gears and a Jegs support cover..
4) Still debating on the Wolf Bar..Just don't think I can get that one past my wife ..

I want to build a 11.5-12:1 383,some ported stock heads, soild roller and aim for low 11's n/a. Then i plan on spraying it to at least low 10's.
Biggest question is...just how MUCH can a "built" 4l60e take? it handled 11.2's with ease.

Boy looks like there is going to be alot of working coming up in the next 2-4 months for many of us.
I have roughly about 2 months to get all my work completed if I want to run in the event at San Antonia (sp?) in March, if not than I have an additional month to get ready for the brackets here in my local town.
Keep them coming.
PS, just dropped the motor and transmission today.
Tear down starts this week.

The nice advantage is that you will be able to make sure you get everything torque up. Plus gives a great opportunity to clean things up.
The motor mounts are getting replaced, AC is going, Cam is being swapped, heads are getting redone just made since to pull it out. Really it did not take that long at all to pull it from the bottom, I maybe put about 5 hrs total in it to pull it.
My list started out short "ADD MORE NOS".
In doing that the list became longer.
Convert to dry 2 stage NOS.
New updated FAST box
New injectors
New bottle mounts
Everything should be done by the 2nd week in Jan. Testing will begin soon after.
All in the Quest for 8.20s

On my daily-driver.....get all the little annoying things taken care of (am making progress) and get the chassis sorted out so I can run some solid 12s when the tracks open. Can't wait to try out my new-to-me 3,200 stall. Thinking hard about adding a 4pt weld-in rollbar to tighten the chassis more. No...I do not EVER plan to run 11s in my car. I just want it to be consistent. It's not been the picture of that...ever.
On the race car.....we're swapping out the HOT cam for a CC306, new springs, and will have the heads massaged a bit more. We've got the 200hp jets now and we'll looks a picking up a few more things to help us run good number. The biggest plan is to run the car more than we did in 2002....once.
If more monies come available, we'll run some real good numbers because we'll be upgrading the drive train to a 3,200 stall, TH350 w/ brake, and a 12-bolt w/ spool. Factory wheels will be retained as will the completely stock exterior appearance. In the meantime, we'll continue launching soft on the 4L60 and 7.5 to keep them alive a bit longer.

Keep the 96 TA as a Bolt-On car and tweak it into the 11's while keeping it in the 3500 lb race weight range.
Build an an ALL OUT LT1 for the 98 Z28 a buddy & I just got... shooting for LOW 10's N/A.
Also buy another LT1 car for a second Bolt-On car... this will be the "Beer Can", LOL.

Well, the first goal is to have the car run what it did on the stock motor(12.4 @ 117).
After that...everything else is cake.
For the winter, I've got the following to do:
More boost
More cubes
Bigger heads
Minor suspension changes
Find some street wheels(Bogarts + potholes = 15# planter)
I'd also like to run Power Tour w/o busting along the way.
