Talking You are correct...

I used to get by an M6 car about half track and have them go back by through the traps. Generally / Mostly a manual car WILL out MPH an Automatic car. Just look at the NHRA Super/Stock National records.

I run this year an EDGE Racing Converter, a little company out of Calif.. I replaced my 3000 Vigilante with it.

One more thing I used to do that not many guys M6 guys do, let alone A4 guys do. I ran a 4.56 gear. Don't think it pulls a little harder on the big end with that gear and a 28" tall Hoosier slick
and all locked up? You better bet your asp!

I agree most people dont run that much gear.But those are the gears I will be running in my car when I get my 12 bolt.It seems to be the only gear to get into the 10's NA with a h/c LS1.People have dipped into the 10's with 4.10s and 4.30's but I want it to be a solid 10.I will have to wait for the cool fall air to get a solid 10.4.56's in a A4 must be wicked.Traction must be a PITA.

I've run 11.42 at 116.56 with stockheads na Lt1. I don't lock my converter either. Since I ran 11.42 My car and I have lost 149#s. i'm looking for 11.20's in the fall. My car is a street car not to be confused with a stock eliminator car. I've run a 1.49 shortime with my Vig3200 and 3.73 gears. So the guy who guessed 11.40's was correct. I dynoed 331 rwhp with a unlocked Vig3200 and 12bolt rearend. Frank95z
