what exactly do you mean " i need it for that engine", the stiffer the suspension generally the less traction you will have when launching. are you dragging the car or auto cross type driving it, or will it be a basically street only car?

there are alot of companies that offer suspension packages for your car for a good price, go check out summit,

If I were you I would box of the PHR and LCA with crome-moly, and install polyurathene bushings. Have relocation brackets and SFC welded on, and maybe install an ajustable TA. You could also put an airbag in the right rear. After that it gets $, such as 12-way shocks, drag springs, etc. However all this is only good/useful if you have a GOOD tire.

thats accurate if your building a drag car, he said he wants to stiffen up the suspension, generally not good for drag racing

Understood. IN that case lowering springs, bigger sway bars front/rear, poly bushings everywhere (endlinks, etc.), sub-frames, a wonder bar, and a strut tower brace. However my original post is still accurate in a street application. So I quess the REAL question sn8ke eatr is asking is what is your intended purpose for your TT build?????

Well the only purpose, is my brother. Well the TT camaro will be for him when he graduates high school. But he knows that the camaro is mine until that min. that he walks to get his diploma. But this car is his only inspiration. This is a 4 year project and i plan to finish it in 2012. As for what i meant when i say i need the suspension for the engine. I meant to say that i need a suspension that will hold and give me lots of traction. I know that tiers are an important aspect. I have been working on cars fro about 2 yrs now. But if u could pls. explain in more details what these parts are and how should i be using them

The 86 IROC had a very good suspension, stock. I would simply replace the worn out components with stock replacement parts.
After your brother gets the car he may have his own idea's.
Also if ANYONE gave me a restored 86 IROC, I would be extremely pleased.
