Went to the track Wed night and it was ok. I need a little more practice finding the right launch rpm and tire pressure. But anyway I was wondering if it was possible to get into the 12's with my setup?. Mods are in sig, my best two runs were 13.39@106 with a 2.2 60" and 13.33@104 with a 2.1 60". I was on et streets running about 19-20 psi. Next time I'll try lowering the pressure down to 15psi and see where that will get me.

 

What RPM are you launching at with those 60's? I'm pretty sure your 60' should be around 1.6-7 with DR's if you launch correctly. If you get your 60' lower I don't see why you wouldn't be able to achieve a 12 second pass.

 

You assume drag radials. We've gotten lazy around here. There are 2 MT DOT drag race tires. One is the MT ET street a bias ply cheater slick the second is the MT ET street radial a drag radial.
But I was thinking the same thing, he's not launching hard enough.

 

Thanks for the suggestions, im on the stock clutch which is holding up for the time being. I'll try launching a bit higher like arounf 4k, that should help out with the gears out back.
