I was under the impression from the GMHP series on Grape of Wrath that the Centerline Telstars fit the '94 z28 perfectly and there were no backspacing or lug issues. Is that not the case??

The 5" backspacing works, but would look better with a 5.5 for the Telstars. The wheel just sticks out a little too far.

InjectedSS, thanks for the pics. I don't think we were on the same page though. I wasn't worried at all about the looks with the Pro Stars mounted. What I was worried about was the need to run longer wheel studs in the front/rear because of the Pro Star wheel design. That is what concerned me because of the longer studs poking through and sticking way out from a set of street rims that doesn't require them.

Ahhh I see what your asking. Yea I dunno, I haven't fooled around with finding a lug to work with my ZR1's and the longer studs. I actually cheated and went back to the stock studs So I just run the stock studs all the time now. NHRA Rules can kiss my a$$ No one ever checks them at the track neways so oh well. I always get yelled at for not having a cage and a firejacket before they even think about my wheels studs

Re: Telestars, NEW INFO

just doing a search and read this post. Centerline does offer the telstar with a 5.5" backspace. I just ordered them through summit for $135 each. I dont have the part#. Its at work and I wont be there for a couple of days. If any of you guys want it, let me know. I talked to the guy at summit and he said that centerline just started building customs wheels. I'll have the part# in a couple of days.

I didnt leave the part# at work, it was in my pants pocket. The # is CLL-135807547. That is for 15x8 with a 5.5" backspace.
